Ghusl requires clean, odorless water that has not been used for a previous ritual and begins with the declaration of the intention of purity and worship. Islam exclaims that children as they approach the age of puberty should be taught the signs of puberty and the characteristics which distinguish men from women, and the types of discharge that may be emitted from the front passage of both sexes. They should also be taught the rulings on ghusl and wudoo, ensuring that it is taught according to what the child needs to know.
